Good morning, beautiful souls.  I do hope you had a wonderful Christmas, made memories to cherish, and ate way too much.  Most of all, I hope it was peaceful.  Christmas was a little smaller at our home this year, but it was wonderful, full of sparkle and spice, and ever so peaceful.

This time of year always finds me thinking of the New Year and wondering what it will bring.  Perhaps, it finds you thinking along those lines as well.  My prayers for the New Year are many, but my top two are ~ peace and a kinder world.  And as we go about our daily rounds, we must never underestimate the power of the ripple effect from our kindness.  Because, we never know how far the ripple may travel, who or what it may inspire, nor the profound impact it can have.  So, I will leave you today, sending love and the words of Zero Dean.  He expresses my sentiments perfectly.

  5. Dean’s wishes for the new year are wonderful. These days between Christmas and New Year’s are filled with hopes and plans and sometimes some fear about what will come. And now I’m getting all teary so time to get up and have supper and settle down afterwards to another Christmas movie we missed and snuggle with our dachshunds. Happy New Year, Sandra!

  6. Friend Sandra, you give us a delicious publication full of wise and pleasant thoughts that I will copy in my agenda so that I can check them from time to time so that I do not forget.
    Christmas has already passed happily at my daughter’s house that lives in Granada, in southern Spain where we have gathered the whole family … well, a noisy Christmas with so many children, but endearing.
    In Spain the gifts are on January 6 the feast of the Magi and we will meet again and
    More hustle and bustle !!! … but nice to see the illusion of children (I say boys because there are no girls)

  7. Thank you for these beautiful thoughts and wish for the new year, Sandra. At this time last year, I knew it was going to be a big year, I just didn’t realize HOW big. I am really looking forward to a more peaceful 2020 and a prayer for a kinder nation. I’m glad your Christmas was peaceful. Ours was wonderful, with my daughter & sil (and her sister and husband helping) being enormously successful in hosting my family (31 this yr) for our Christmas Eve dinner and white elephant gift exchange. I had them for breakfast on Christmas Day, and it was very nice, calm and quiet.

    1. Good morning, Rita. Your 2020 sounds calm and restful compared to 2019. You will so enjoy life without the upkeep of a large home and garden. I know you enjoyed Christmas also with your daughter hosting. Thirty-one people is truly an event, understand those words are from an only child. But I know it was fun and how great that you can all be together.
