  3. I’m so sorry to read this. Mike, thank you for updating us. And Sandra, if you are able to read your blog comments, please know that I will pray daily for you healing and for what energy — physical, emotional and spiritual — that you can muster to put into that healing.

I know all too well that a serious illness taps everyone — the patient and those caring for that person. So, I also send all the energy and hope I can to you, Mike. Loving and caring is hard work but without it, where would we be? You take care of you, too.

  4. Mike, please give Sandra my regards, and let her know I will keep you both in my prayers. I knew she was taking a break, but your update is appreciated. I know it’s also challenging for a caregiver, so please remember to take care of your needs as well.

  8. From the Book of Common Prayer “May God the Father bless you, God the Son heal you, God the Holy Spirit give you strength. May God the holy and undivided Trinity guard your body, save your soul, and bring you safely to his heavenly. country; where he lives and reigns for ever and ever.”
We will be praying with you and for you both at noon today.

  9. Sandra, You have been my guiding light in difficult times. Sunday mornings were always special as I would see your gorgeous pictures of God’s flowers and read your meaningful, comforting words which were always there to comfort and guide. I treasure those times as they were a great source of comfort. I pray that the difficult time you are experiencing now will soon pass and you will be able to once again provide your public with the gorgeous flowers and your gentle words. You are truly God’s angel here on earth and I pray for your recovery.
