“As human beings, our job in life is to help people realize how rare and valuable each one of us really is, that each of us has something that no one else has–or ever will have–something inside that is unique to all time. It’s our job to encourage each other to discover that uniqueness and to provide ways of developing its expression.” ~ Fred Rogers
“I believe in hope, dreams and decency, love tenderness and kindness. I believe in mankind.” ~Leonard Nimoy

Dearest Sandra, I could spend hours on that porch swing. I love the Fred Rogers quote. Our son watched Mr. Rogers faithfully as a child. Have a most blessed Sunday sweet friend!
Pam, thank you so much for your kind words. Wishing you and your lovely family a joyful day!
Have a wonderful Sunday Sandra!
Many thanks, Penny – you too!
Mr Rogers has influenced so many people positively. I was touched that my DIL values his reruns for my grandchildren to watch because he values the importance that everyone is special.
The photo of the porch swing is so tranquil.
Dear Bonnie, I so agree with your thoughts about Mr. Rogers and how wonderful your DIL shares his reruns with your grandchildren, especially in our world today. I so appreciate your visit and thank you for your kind words.
Mr. Rogers quote is so perfect! I agree with Pam…I could sit on that porch swing all day long! Enjoy your week sweet friend!!!

You had me with the quote from Fred Rogers. I do miss that man – he was so genuine and giving. The world needs more people like him.
